Yesterday, Fidel Castro resigned from his dictatorship; Kosovo has obtained its independence and tonight the U.S. Navy will destroy into pieces a satellite that is free in the universe. These are all historical occasions that we have the benefit to experience. My question is, do we thank God for the experiences that we witness and go through? I will be honest and say “no, not always.”
History is happening right before our very own eyes and we hope to learn from it.
We hope that our younger generations to come will learn from our mistakes and our triumphs that Christ provides in our times. Let’s tell them about our pains and struggles as we grown in Him, as we mature in Him and we learn to seek His ways.
Although, so many negative and positive things are happening in our world today, we must remember that this is God’s world. Everything that is in it and around it is His! Yes, you are His, I am His and your children are His. We are borrowed and kept alive by the Glory and MERCY of His Power. We at times seem to forget Who He is; He is the “Beginning and the End” the Creator of all things and the one that allows things to happen. Without Him we have no future, no life and no hope.
As our days pass before us, teach your children and their children the things that the good Lord has done for you, the things that you have witness with your very own eyes and let them know that they happened because God allowed it to be so.
